It discredits the reasonable anti-war majority. Unless it's about crimes or atrocities committed by our soldiers, as CBS apparently documented last night, my opposition to these wars is not about the soldiers. It's about Bush's mishandling of the Afghanistan war, and about his utter lies to get us into Iraq in the first place -- and then his mishandling of that war.
