Follow The Money

So now we know that the rare coin fund ran by Tom Noe is short by about $12 million worth of inventory. That sure is a lot of buffalo nickels and Federalist Papers. Where could it have all gone? I know where some of it could have went.

9/15/2004 $5,000 Ohio's 17 Star PAC

7/23/2003 $1,000 Northpoint Technology

The two leadership PACs gave money all over the place. This could get real interesting. More later.

Pass the popcorn. This is getting interesting. Do you have a decent attorney general over there in Ohio? It looks like you'll need a good one.

sean:

Jim Petro is just another Republican who has been playing musical chairs with statewide offices. Unfortunately, he's part of the very thing Noe was contributing to, so you can't feel good about that.

Well, it also looks like some federal laws may have been broken. Maybe a competent special prosecutor will get the case.

sean:

With the current crop of GOP stars running the show, it's doubtful.
